We are offering a 2-month internship opportunity for a talented and passionate individual to join our team as an Intern Full Stack Engineer & CloudOps. As an intern, you will have the chance to contribute to our ongoing projects by working on both front-end and back-end development tasks while also assisting in the setup and management of our cloud infrastructure. This internship will provide valuable hands-on experience in full-stack development and cloud operations within the context of sustainable investments in Africa. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in web development, a basic understanding of cloud computing concepts, and a passion for making a positive impact through technology.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the team to develop and implement both the front-end and back-end components of our applications.
• Participate in the design and development of user interfaces, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code for front-end and back-end functionalities.
• Assist in setting up and managing our cloud infrastructure using tools such as Microsoft Azure.
• Configure and deploy cloud services, databases, and storage solutions to support our applications.
• Monitor and troubleshoot performance issues, security vulnerabilities, and scalability challenges in the cloud environment.
• Collaborate with team members to integrate front-end and back-end systems seamlessly.
• Stay updated on the latest technologies and best practices in full-stack development and cloud operations.
• Support the team in other related tasks as required.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field. Recent graduates may also be considered.
• Strong foundation in web development, including proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js).
• Basic understanding of back-end development using programming languages such as Python, Node.js, or similar.
• Familiarity with database systems, RESTful APIs, and version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Interest in cloud computing concepts and exposure to cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, manage time efficiently, and meet deadlines.
• Enthusiasm for learning and a proactive attitude toward acquiring new skills and knowledge.
• Passion for sustainable investments and making a positive impact on communities in Africa.
• Languages: English and French.
